Growth is an ongoing characteristic of Insurance One.  In 2006, our agency expanded the number of locations and clients to serve in excess of 75 million dollars in insurance premiums.  The center for church and non-profit insurance  exceeded 20 million dollars in written premiums for 2006.

 

Insurance One does business in many states across the country.  As we continue to grow and expand, we will consistently provide security, affordability and the expertise to offer the kind of diversity that each church and non-profit organization needs. 

 

No two churches or ministries are alike.  They are unique and require customized attention to every detail.  At Insurance One, we have no standard answers or computer generated solutions to our client’s challenges.  We work personally with each client and present various alternatives to accomplish the specific objective of each individual ministry.

 

Risk Management in the charitable sector is fundamentally different from Risk Management in the for-profit world.  At the heart of the difference is the very reason most non-profits exist.  Their primary focus is to help people.  With this in mind, Insurance One will assist in developing policies and procedures that will protect the people served by the non-profit.

The team assembled to service our clients has an average of 24.33 years experience.  Insurance One currently works with the most respected carriers in the industry and provides service for nearly 1,000 churches and non-profits.  Our CSR and support staff is involved in servicing church accounts.  They not only understand the insurance needs of the church, but also live a Christian lifestyle.

 

Insurance One has enjoyed the endorsements of the following non-profit organizations.

 

1.         The Districts Insurance Program for the Assemblies of God churches. 

Rick McCrary in our DeSoto, Texas office and partner of Insurance One, had valuable input with the Assemblies of God Headquarters in developing the program.  Today Insurance One writes coverage for the North Texas; West Texas, and New Mexico districts representing over 1,400 churches.  In addition, we are the preferred agent for the South Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana Districts.

 

2.         Insurance One is endorsed by Church Supplies & Services (Church CO-OP). 

The CO-OP is a non-profit organization based in Houston, Texas, consisting of approximately 900 member churches.  We have been their preferred carrier for the past three years.  Recently, Insurance One successfully negotiated a contract for the CO-OP organization with Philadelphia Insurance Company as their preferred carrier. 

 

Insurance One will provide the Front Line Risk Management Services which would include:

4.  Safety survey and inspection

5.  Inspection of vehicles

6.  Review of policy and procedures on the following:

            A.  Automobiles

            B.  Use of Property

7.  Communications with Pastors

 

In addition to Insurance one’s team, we will enlist the services of the chosen carrier who will provide various levels of service usually based on the size of the account.  Carriers’ web sites are very comprehensive with risk management tools and a very good tool for training.

Insurance One has a contract with the national firms of Gallagher Bassett and Regional Reporting to provide safety and property inspections on out of state locations including local risk with unique features where a professional opinion would be preferred.  Both companies have provided Insurance One Underwriting/Loss Control Surveys, Prevention Consulting Services, Employee Safety and Healthy Evaluations, Premium Audits, and Threat Management and Workplace Violence Avoidance for specific accounts.  These are just a few services available for our clients.

 

It’s not uncommon for Insurance One to receive daily calls from across the nation with inquires about insurance coverages in other states.  Our national exposure via speaking engagements and national published articles and referrals has allowed us to have a national presence.

 

Insurance One currently writes coverage for accounts in 25 states.  We are always eager to assist any account if the size of the account warrants the effort.  As previously stated, we are the preferred agency for the Assembly of God districts and the CO-OP organizations across Texas where our 15 local offices are available for services. 

 

We work very close with the Pastor in each Church to determine the level of participation and service needed.  We would then evaluate each Church’s needs along with the available sales force of the selected company to determine an agreed marketing and servicing plan.
