A graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas; Gary Benson began his insurance career in 1983 as a life insurance specialist where he had the honor of earning that industry's most prestigious honor of the Million Dollar Round Table. In 1987, Gary joined GuideOne Insurance and worked with this company for the next 15 years. He initially served as their Director Of Sales for the South Texas region but then had the opportunity to establish his own agency under the GuideOne name. It was there that he regularly earned the company's recognition of top agents and grew his agency to become one of the largest in the South Texas region.
In 2003, with the opportunity to expand upon the services he could offer to his clients, Gary joined with the Insurance One Agency, a large independent agency with over 15 offices across Texas and now over $75 million in sales. While each office is independently owned, the strength of Insurance One's combined resources can provide customers with some of the finest insurance companies available. With that, Gary understands that while price is always an issue, he offers a total commitment to customer service that price cannot always buy. He still believers in personal service and takes great pride in the commitment he makes to his customers.
Gary and his wife Sharon have three girls and six precious grandchildren. Gary is an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church in The Woodlands. He also serves as a director on the Board of Church Supplies & Services (Church Co-Op).

Paula Burns specializes in insuring larger churches and non-profit organizations. She has earned the prestigious designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and has been in the insurance industry for 25 years. Her career began in property and casualty claims laying a foundation for Paula to be an advocate for clients when they need her the most, during a claim or crisis. Having attended seminary at Christian Life School of Theology, now Beacon University, Paula has a heart for serving those who serve. She is a supporter and active member of both Houston NACBA (National Association of Church Business Administrators) chapters. |
